Confirmation Class

The confirmation class is a preparatory class for membership into the body of Christ and in particular into this congregation of the United Methodist Chirch.  This class is offered generally to those in the 6th grade but is open to all.  The class is based on the study of the "Claim the Name" curriculum that touches on Methodist history, doctrine, stands on social issues, and the responsibilities of being a full member in Christ's Church.

The Leader of this class is Mike Christley and they meet during the Sunday School hour 10:00 to 11:00 am on Sundays.

Other activities include a confirmation retreat, visits to various Methodist organizations in Houston and other activities aimed at learning about the Methodist church and membership into the Methodist church.

Each member of this class is assigned a mentor that will aid in the introduction to membership into the body of Christ and into this congregation of the Methodist Church.
